Headhunters: Lazarus Protocol
A downloadable game for Windows
Headhunters is a turn based tactical skirmish game, developed as part of the Indie Game Development MA course at Falmouth University.
The current prototype is by no means finished (you'll see!) and is only representative of what the finished game is expected to be like.
After you finish playing, please fill out the questionnaire at: https://forms.gle/1o1MNsNfadfXp5ec9 Your feedback is welcome and will help shape the future of this project. Thank you.

How to play
Unlike most Tactics games, turns alternate between heroes and NPCs. There is no initiative track - you choose who you want to go during your turn and then a random NPC is chosen to have their turn. Once all units have taken a turn, the next round starts.
You control two characters, Carmina Swan and Mab Kitano. You can select them either by clicking on the characters or selecting their icon in the bottom left of the screen.
Each player character has two action points to spend during their turn. In this prototype build, only the standard actions are available and each cost 1 action point. After both action points have been used, you will need to hit the End Turn button.
The available actions are:
Move - move a number of spaces up to the characters speed (Sp.) stat
Attack - attack with your equipped weapon. You can attack any NPC in line of sight but that doesn’t mean you’ll hit…
Interact - if you are next to an object you can interact with, you can interact with it.
Rest - spend an action point to recover 4 hit points
Known issues (as of v0.0.4.26.04.09):
- NPCs don't always show their nameplate correctly but can still be targeted and mercilessly attacked.
- Trying to click on the action buttons while a delayed click action (move or attack) is selected will cause that action to trigger. Right click to cancel the action first.
